Sunday Parkways
I took a bit of time to recount my experience with Portland’s Sunday Parkways, the city’s first experiment with closing down city streets to automotive traffic. This is a big thing for any city, no matter how small the step may seem. Keep the faith that Portland’s experiment will spread like wildfire. Sometime the land has to burn before new, beautiful growth can spurn forth.
